Dear Elviro and Lutz
This is just a small note from me personally and
supported by ConocoPhillips (UK) Ltd to say thank you very much for all the
work and effort everyone has put into this operation to make it successful.
The vessel is immaculate throughout and all the ships
officers are great at steering good straight lines for survey a much needed
skill for these operations.
Thanks to all the crew who, not only keep the vessel
great, but always willing and cheerful to give a hand with the survey guys.
It was good to see everyone always being very aware of
good safety procedures, a great credit to you all.
The Galley staff always producing good food three
times a day and keeping the Galley and mess rooms in a perfect clean and very
hygienic condition, a rare sight and great to see it, especially in trying
circumstances
To all the survey crew who continued to “battle on”
with the operation come “hell and high winds” and to convince the Geo the
records are great!
But also, especially when all the odds were against
them, with no proper spares and having very little more than bits of chewing
gum, sticky tape and a little tube of bathroom sealant, achieved a sonar
termination that enabled us to complete the project.
That was some achievement.
This proves that good skills, team efforts, good will,
overcomes bureaucracy every time
Thanks to you all and good luck with your future
operations
Regards
